(All the supplies listed can be purchased from the dollar store)

During the month of January the children at many of our schools learn about space. The craft pictured above is a great way to help the children develop their creativity as well as learn about the planets. To complete this craft you must first need to gather supplies. Once your supplies are gathered, take the masking tape and tape around the bouncy ball creating a tag which can be used to hang the planet. Once your tape is completed you can then create. First, apply the paint color of choice to the ball covering the ball fully, once the ball is covered in paint you may then add your details of your choice from the supplies (craft sand, cotton balls, glitter, etc). Once your ball is complete, hang it to dry. You can also make multiple planets and make a mobile out of them, your child can create their own planet or replicate an existing planet.

We hope your planet creations are out of this world!
