Snack Attack- July 2014

 

Bring the glory of the season to your table with this red, white and blue treat!  Don’t be fooled by its fun appearance, though. This “Patriotic Parfait” is packed with protein and fiber to satisfy their hunger for hours and is so simple to prepare that the kids will want to make it themselves!

 

“Patriotic Parfait”

 

½ cup yogurt

½ cup granola or other cereal

½ cup sliced strawberries

½ cup blueberries

 

In a parfait cup, layer half of each ingredient at a time in any order desired.
