Tired of process crackers & chips for that crunchy salty snack? Looking for a healthy easy snack that you and your children would enjoy? Try these gluten free crunchy chickpeas packed with flavor & protein.

2 cans Garbanzo beans

2-3 Tbsp. Extra Virgin Olive Oil

1 package Ranch dip mix

Cayenne Pepper—for spice *optional

 

Preheat oven to 400*

Drain & rinse garbanzo beans

Put in bowl, mix with olive oil, ranch dip (dry mix), cayenne pepper to taste.

Spread evenly on a cookie sheet

Bake 30-40 minutes

Cool & enjoy

 

Other options for flavor—

Dijon mustard & dried onions (or onion soup mix)

Cayenne pepper, cumin, celery salt

Cinnamon & sugar

Lemon pepper, granulated garlic

Or whatever flavors sound good to you…the options are endless.
